2017年1月11日、Google Earth API（EarthをWEBページなどに埋め込む為のオブジェクトです）を廃止しています。

2015年1月30日、年額399ドルのビジネスユーザー向けソフト「Google Earth Pro」を無償化しています。

＜機能追加＞
・目印の編集画面に画像ピッカーが追加。
・「高品質な地形を使用する」オプションが初期状態で有効化。
